What's Next - A Poem by Jackson Manford-Roach
How do I live my life to the fullest?
And once it’s almost over, will I be happy with my fate?
Life is just another word for perspective And perspective is about what we see How will I see my place in this world?
We take life by the hand and pull it in our direction We are in control Life is given to us, but it starts out empty We need to fill it up With memories, family, friends, dreams and success
We give others a push when they need it
Give them our words and ideas
To help them sprout like a flower in the spring But what about our story?
Sometimes we skip over the pages in our story Lose our perspective
People can find the good in just about anything But themselves You have to find what makes you shine the brightest And make sure that light never burns out Make sure you live your story Find your perspective
